

Lecture summary:
EU Member States strive to maintain the highest standards of food safety. New solutions resulting from research and innovation must be implemented by all actors in the food chain.
There is a need for greater synergy between industry, regulators and researchers to discuss and set food safety priorities and develop innovative solutions.
The CATALYSE project aims to create a strong, sustainable and inclusive community that addresses the diverse needs of stakeholders along the entire food chain.
CATALYSE will create a shared space where food chain actors – innovators, industry, academia, regulators and non-governmental organisations – can interact and collaborate to develop a comprehensive understanding of their needs and explore innovative solutions.
- Identification of relevant networks, organizations and individuals as stakeholders.
- Designing and using surveys and structured interviews to collect and analyze data to understand key needs and interests.
The aim is to develop a platform for food safety innovation that relies on interconnectivity and offers high-quality information, education and training.
